What is a home concierge service?
A home concierge service manages all aspects of your property needs on your behalf — from finding and coordinating trusted tradespeople to overseeing full renovation projects. Rather than spending hours searching for reliable contractors, chasing quotes, and managing schedules yourself, you make one call and a dedicated expert handles everything. Aleia Home provides this service across SE London and Kent.
What areas does Aleia Home cover?
Aleia Home serves homeowners across SE London and North Kent, including Blackheath, Greenwich, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Chislehurst, and Dartford, as well as the surrounding areas. Our focus on this specific geography means we have deep local knowledge and a well-established network of vetted tradespeople in your area.
How is Aleia Home different from Checkatrade or MyBuilder?
Checkatrade and MyBuilder are directories — they list tradespeople and leave you to find, vet, contact, and manage them yourself. Aleia Home is a personal service: we do the finding, vetting, coordinating, and managing on your behalf. Every tradesperson in our network has been personally assessed, not simply registered. You deal with one point of contact throughout your project, not a different contractor every time.
What types of home projects does Aleia Home manage?
Aleia Home handles two core services: Trades Coordination for single-trade jobs — plumbing, electrical, decorating, joinery, tiling, and more — and full Project Management for larger multi-trade projects such as kitchen refits, bathroom renovations, room transformations, and structural works. We work on projects ranging from a few thousand pounds upwards.
How does Aleia Home vet its tradespeople?
Every tradesperson in the Aleia Home network is personally assessed — not checked against a database. We evaluate technical skill, reliability, professionalism, and the way they treat a client's home. We also maintain ongoing relationships with our tradespeople, which means we know from direct experience how they perform on site.
Can Aleia Home help if I don't know exactly what I need?
Yes — most clients come to us with a problem rather than a specification. You don't need to know which trade is required or how the project should be sequenced. That is our job. Tell us what you're trying to achieve or what isn't working in your home, and we'll scope the right solution and the right people to deliver it.
Is Aleia Home suitable for period or listed properties?
Yes. SE London and Kent have a high concentration of Victorian, Edwardian, and period properties, and many of the homes we work in are of this type. Our vetted tradespeople have experience with period property specifics — lime plaster, original cornicing, sash windows, solid floors, and the requirements of sympathetic renovation. Where listed building consent may be required, we'll advise on the correct process.
What happens if something goes wrong during a project?
Aleia Home takes complete ownership of the project from brief to sign-off. If an issue arises — a trade overrun, a material problem, a quality concern — we resolve it. You do not manage the problem; we do. Nothing is signed off until you are completely satisfied with the finished work.
Do I have to deal with multiple contractors directly?
No. That is the core purpose of Aleia Home. You deal with one person — Adem — from the first conversation to the final sign-off. We manage all contractor relationships, scheduling, and on-site coordination on your behalf.
How much does a home concierge service cost in SE London?
Aleia Home's pricing is project-specific. Our coordination fee is built into the project price — you receive a single, clear quote rather than separate invoices from multiple contractors. We handle all trade quotes on your behalf and present a consolidated figure. For an accurate estimate for your project, contact us to arrange a free home visit and assessment.
How does the first conversation work?
When you contact Aleia Home, you speak directly to Adem — the founder. There are no forms, no algorithms, and no call handlers. We listen to what you need, ask the right questions, and if we can help, we arrange a home visit to take a full brief. The first conversation is free and carries no obligation.
Do you offer a free home visit?
Yes. For all projects, Adem visits your property in person before any work is scoped or priced. This allows us to understand the full picture, ask the questions that matter, and give you an honest, accurate assessment of what your project involves. There is no charge for the initial visit and no obligation to proceed.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
A standard bathroom renovation in SE London typically takes between two and four weeks from first fix through to completion, depending on scope and the number of trades involved. A full strip-out and refit coordinating plumber, tiler, electrician, and decorator will usually run three to four weeks. Aleia Home manages the sequencing of all trades to minimise the time your bathroom is out of use.
What trades does Aleia Home coordinate?
Our vetted network covers all core residential trades including plumbing, electrical, plastering, tiling, joinery, carpentry, decorating, flooring, roofing, and general building. For specialist requirements — such as structural engineers, kitchen fitters, or smart home installation — we source the right professional from our extended network.
How do I get started with Aleia Home?
